National Parks in Uttarakhand

Famous Trekyaari’s Trek in Uttarakhand
Uttarakhand map has over 65 recognised trekking trails. Some for beginners, some with moderate difficulty and some treks for experts. Every trek offers a vivid range of landscapes, forests of Oak, pine and Deodar trees.
Kedarkantha trek:
The queen of winter treks and the most beginner friendly trek known for its snow covered trails, 360degree panoramic view, the sunrise and well marked trails. Kedarkantah trek is best for beginners, first-time trekkers and also for families. The trail passes through the forests of Oak and pine trees. During winter the main part of this trek is the Juda Ka Talab campsite, which is a lake but during winter it freezes completely.
Brahmatal trek:
Brahmatal trek is a less crowded trek, it attracts trekkers seeking solitude and lakes at higher altitude. At higher altitude trekkers often spot wildlife such as Himalayan monals and snow leopards.
Valley of Flowers trek:
One of the rare Monsoon treks. The valley of flowers trek is one the most famous floral treks in India. This UNESCO World Heritage site passes through lush Green forests, meadows and attracts botanists, photographers, and nature lovers.
Chopta Chandrashila trek:
Chopta is a small village known as “Mini Switzerland of India”. The trek passes through the Tungnath Temple (the highest shiva temple in the world), and through dense deodar forests. Perfect short weekend trek for students and employees.

Kuari Pass trek is often known as the curzon trails, named after Lord Curzon, a British viceroy who made this route famous.
