Factors that affect trekking Distance and Duration
Even though the Kuari Pass trek distance is 30-32km, every time you will trek the time it takes to complete the trek varies. Why this happen lets know:
The Kuari Pass trek passes through forests, rocky paths, steep ascents, and meadows. So due to snow and rocky paths it takes longer. If there is a lot of snow, it will take more time to trek.
The duration also depends on the weather condition. If the weather is clear then it will make your journey smoother and faster. While if it's raining, snowing or the trails are slippery it will make your trek slow down.
Also while trekking we have to keep acclimatization in mind and have to take rest continuously which also slows down your trekking.
For a fit person covering 8km of distance would take 4hrs, whereas for covering the same distance beginners may take 5-6 hrs.
